USDA Low Temperature PVC

Chase offers USDA-rated low-temperature PVC strips designed for walk-in coolers and freezers. These strips are approved for accidental contact with food and can operate within temperatures ranging from -20°F to 140°F. The smooth strips efficiently block conditioned cooler/freezer air from escaping but enable workers to pass from the kitchen to the coolers/freezers freely. Low-temperature USDA strips are ideal for restaurants and other food storage facilities. Additionally, these strips can be used in outdoor settings where temperatures are consistently below freezing.

USDA Low Temperature String Reinforced Strip & Sheet PVC

For restaurants and food service applications, Chase offers polar reinforced strips that are infused with nylon strings that provide increased levels of durability.

Polar reinforced strips are ideal for food service use as they use USDA grade material that is approved for incidental contact with food. The polar strips can cover both coolers and freezers and will remain effective in temperatures as low as -20°F.

The nylon reinforcements provide stability for the PVC strips at the lowest temperatures.

Offset Double Ribbed USDA Low Temperature Strip & Sheet PVC

In cooler and freezer applications where traffic is heavier or an even tighter seal is required, Low Temperature Ribbed PVC is an ideal solution. The raised ribs can come into contact with forklift and pallet jack traffic without compromising the clarity of the door. The ribs also create pockets of air that provide additional insulation. All low temperature USDA strips are approved for incidental contact with food and, therefore, are perfect for coolers and freezers. Low Temperature USDA Ribbed PVC can be used in coolers and freezers where temperatures range from -20°F to 140°F. The strips can also be used in outdoor applications where temperatures are consistently near freezing.
